MIPAA supports its members’ professional and leadership development through the Business Academy which offers an exclusive programme of training workshops and educational initiatives.
The Professional Development Programme (PDP) level offers activities for those with up to 3 years’ experience in motor industry PR (including graduates and interns), including:
- New to… workshops which offer practical skills and knowledge in essential topic areas
- Accelerate personal mentoring initiative: being updated for 2012
- Professional practice seminars (PPS) and various networking opportunities
- Social Media Season – forum, workshops and new DriveUp initiative
The Leadership Development Programme (LDP) level is designed for those with responsibility for campaigns, budgets and/or teams within motor industry public relations (specifically those who are in, or are moving into, management roles). It comprises:
- Responsible for… workshops which offer expert skills and knowledge in strategic topic areas
- Accelerate personal reputation initiative: being developed in 2012
- Annual MIPAA PR Masterclass, Professional Practice Seminars and various networking opportunities
- Social Media Season – forum, workshops and new DriveUp initiative
Both programme levels aim to provide access to expert resources with activities that enable individual progress and outcomes to be measured and incorporated in appraisals.
