Richard Gadeselli, Vice President International Corporate Communications, Vice President Communications Fiat Group Automobiles SpA, Vice President Communications, Maserati SpA, Italy and Chairman, Fiat UK LimitedA successful decade in journalism saw Richard rise to become managing editor of Hulton Press’ automotive trade & industry publications. He joined Fiat SpA in 1987 as head of corporate communications for UK & Ireland, taking up a global role in 1994 as head of international media relations for the Fiat, Lancia and Alfa Romeo marques, and head of communications for Maserati at Fiat Auto SpA in Turin, Italy. In 1997 Richard was appointed director of corporate affairs, Fiat UK Ltd in London, with responsibility for Commonwealth countries. Since 2001 he has been chairman & chief executive, Fiat UK Ltd, subsequently being appointed to the additional international communication roles detailed above. Richard has the unique honour of having been chairman of the Guild of Motoring Writers (1987), MIPAA (1993-94) and SMMT public affairs committee (2000). He is currently a member of the President’s committee at the CBI and a director of the Italian chamber of commerce & industry for the UK. |
