As part of the 40th anniversary celebrations in 2008, MIPAA Limited life president and two times chairman, Gethin Bradley recognised the support of twenty long-standing MIPAA members with the award of honorary status.
”On MIPAA’s 30th anniversary, the founding fathers were presented with honorary membership. Ten years on, the Executive Committee gave me the privilege of bestowing the same honour on members I believed had made a significant contribution to the association over the years,” Gethin explained.
Those presented with honorary membership were: Geoff Dossetter, Graham Dymott, Celia Elliott, Adrian Graves, Richard Herdegen, Anthony Hussey, Mike Imeson, Keith Kent, Roger Mercer, Dominique Morgan, Graham Raphael, Mark Robinson, Margaret Rowles, Richard Seth-Smith, Bob Sicot, Simon Small, Tony Spalding, Chris Wakley, Chris Willows and Alan Zafer.
Sadly, Simon Small died in Summer 2010 (See Revolve Summer 210 for tributes to this great PR man and the Winter 2009 issue for Simon’s thoughts on receiving his honorary membership.)
